Top Diplomats, Ministers, Migrants Communities Set For Ethnic Business Awards On Val’s Day
The die is cast and all is set for a classical evening of fun and business romance between members of the international community, topflight diplomats, Ministers and diaspora boardroom colosi of note.
The show, The Ethnic Business Awards with a theme, Gold Soiree is designed to foster more business relationships amongst Nigeria’s international community amidst convivial atmosphere.
The event which holds at the prestigious Oriental hotel Lagos is symbolic in the sense that, it holds on St. Valentine’s day, a day set aside worldwide for celebration of love.
On the attendance list of the show are important dignitaries amongst whom are foreign envoys such as Claire Pierangelo, the US Consul General, Harriet Thompson, Deputy High Commissioner, British Embassy, Laurence Monmayrant, the French Consulate and Stefan Traumann, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany among others are those lined-up, not just as special guests but keynote speakers.
Others who will grace the occasion in different designative capacities are the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, H.E Geoffrey Jideofor Kwusike Onyeama, Interior, H.E Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Trade, Industry & Investment, H.E Okechukwu Enelamah and Minister of Labour and Employment, H.E Festus Keyamo SAN, FCIArb (UK) while the governor of Lagos State, H.E Babajide Sanwo-Olu is the Chief Host.
The Chief Host, H.E Babajide Sanwo-Olu, according to the organizers is expected to deliver a speech titled, “Lagos, A Hub for Foreign Investors”, Consul General Pierangelo will treat some of the challenges facing foreign businesses in Nigeria alongside other envoys while on the federal government side, the Foreign Affairs Minister who’s attending as Special Guest of honour talks on, “Managing Our Foreign Partners”.
The Industry, Trade and Investment Minister-The Guest Speaker, H.E Okechukwu Enelamah will speak on, “The Ease Of Investing In Nigeria” and the Chairman of Occasion, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbeso
la, the Interior Minister will deliver the opening speech while the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr. Festus Keyamo SAN is the host.
The peak of the classical evening will see renowned Diaspora business tycoons and captains of industry being honoured in different awards categories according to their contributions in various fields of human endeavours.
